The Cassowary is a strange looking bird that lives in the more tropical parts of Australia. It can be very dangerous as it has huge talons on its strong feet. It looks very prehistoric. It has a horn-like but soft and spongy crests called a casque on its head.

I live in the South East of Australia, in the beautiful Shoalhaven, where I find inspiration for my landscapes; with beaches, farmlands, mountains, valleys and bush all within easy reach. I like to vary my work and have also painted portraits, seascapes and some abstracts. My main medium is acrylic but I have become proficient in watercolour. I have won prizes in various art contests and have sold work in exhibitions in the local area, and have also sold internationally to New Zealand, the USA and Great Britain.
