"Emusing" - a series of watercolour and ink paintings depicting the Emu, a flightless bird from Australia, in various poses. Each painting has as inspiration, a line from a famous movie. Unframed with a backing, mat, and clear cover.
I live in the South East of Australia, in the beautiful Shoalhaven, where I find inspiration for my landscapes; with beaches, farmlands, mountains, valleys and bush all within easy reach. I like to vary my work and have also painted portraits, seascapes and some abstracts. My main medium is acrylic but I have become proficient in watercolour. I have won prizes in various art contests and have sold work in exhibitions in the local area, and have also sold internationally to New Zealand, the USA and Great Britain.
